having 9 people in a Mini van that holds 7 and your kids 7 and 6, are sitting on their parent’s lap, with no booster seats in car. and 3 year old not strapped in car seat.
I own a ford tarus and a ford windstar(mini van) I have a 2 year old a 3 year old and an infant (I’m thinking of buying a car seat for her so she can have it when she turns 1). I need to know what seats they all require and which ones will fit in my cars properly. I was going to buy them online but I thought I should ask around first. I opt to get a convertable for my infant and 2 graco booster seats with a 5 point harness that turn into belt positioning seats after 40 pounds, for my 2 and 3 year olds. Let me know if these options would be suitable Thanks in advance for all of your answers.
Ok This will be my 3rd car seat! I have a mini van that fits 2 carseats in the middle and 2 car seats and 1 booster seat in the back. I think i’m going to put my 2 older ones in the back with a small toy box between them then the new baby and car seat in the middle so it’s easier to get to. What do you think the best would be?
My stepdaughter will be 7 and in a booster seat. My son will be 13 months and in a convertible car seat and I will have a newborn in a carrier. Would rather not do the mini-van/SUV route if we don’t have to. Wondering if a 5 Series BMW has more room along the back? Or possibly a station wagon? My husband and I are both on the tall side (He is 6’5" and I am close to 6′ so having leg room in the front is also necessary. Suggestions please?

We are getting a different car. Some kind of a 2005 mini van or something that has 3 rows. So I know no matter what car/van I get it will have the ability to have a car seat attach to it. But all the reviews I read talk about it being loose back there when kid is not in the seat. My big kids will be in the back Girls 5 and 3 ½. We are wanting one with a high back.
Straps as in the ones that go behind the seat and under it. Not the straps I use now in the car seats to strap them in. I know my seat belt will strap them in as for the booster.

I have no problem with the booster seat that has straps for the kids. But my main concern is strapping it in to the car. I know how important it is to have a 5 point harness at there age.
