Hi, I have a 3.5 year old, a 18month old and a 6month old baby. We currently have 2 booster seats and a rearward facing convertible seat squeezed along the back of our Toyota Aurion sedan. The problem is when we turn the baby’s seat forward facing, it no longer fits. Are there slim line carseats &/or booster seats available in Australia? I would prefer to buy new carseats then having to buy a whole new car! I would also prefer to buy models that would take the them from toddler right up to age 7 if possible… Can anyone help?
I have measured the backseat and it is 1.25m.

We have three kids and the oldest is 3. We have a small 86 mazda sedan, and 2 kids are in a booster seat, and one in an infant car seat. they are all in the backseat door to door and are continuously trying to pick on each other. Would it be safe and legal to put the oldest in the booster seat in the front seat of the car? The car has no airbags, but i am not sure how safe this would be.

I have a small sedan. I need to fit three (3) boosters across the back seat. The narrowest one I can find is 16.5" across. Do you know of one that is skinnier?! I can’t find anything helpful online. A new car is out of the question…unless you are offering…
Thanks!
Thank you all for your insight.
I think I may be in a bind. I would like them to be easy to transfer from car to car, and from what I can tell the boosters seem to be thinner than the harness seats.
I have an old Britax Star Riser that’s 14" wide, but they don’t make them anymore. And I have the Turbobooster which is 16" wide – and it’s too wide to allow room for a carseat.
I have a 4 year old (45 lbs, and 50") and a 3 year old (35 lbs, and 37") and one on the way. So, really I need to fit two boosters and a carseat into the backseat of a 2006 Lexus IS250 (the website didn’t have any recommendations). I don’t know that’s it’s going to happen!

There is a bill being proposed that children newborn to age 8 be in a child restraint..
All children under the age of 16 should be put in the backseat buckled in!

…backseat?
I have a 1988 Dodge Caravan that has only lap belts in the back seats, and a carseat that uses 5-point harness until 40 lbs, then uses shoulder/lap belt combo to secure child. Suggestions?

My little girl is 2, and she is outgrowing her carseat. I also have another problem on my hands! I also have a 1 year old, and I recently found out that I am pregnant again. (Yes, I was on birth control) My 1 year old is moving into the carseats that my 2 year old is in. I have a Mercury Milan Premier 4-door sedan that was wrecked nearly 2 months ago. We were told it was totaled, so I thought we would take the check and purchase an SUV for more room being it’s more practical than a car with 3 babies ALL in car seats. Buuut the guy who hit us’s insurance decided they’d rather pay the ,000 to have it repaired than replacing it. (It was only a few months old when it was wrecked) So now I am trying to find a way to make 3 car seats fit into the car because since it’s been wrecked, trade in value drops significantly, so I don’t think we’ll be able to afford to upgrade at the moment. Boosters look smaller, is a 2 year old too young for one? I need a way to make all of us fit!
Thanks for your answers! I guess when I get the car back (it’s in the body shop and they haven’t even started on it) I can try to put the infant seat in between the girls’ carseats and see how much room I have. I’ve never seen anyone with 3 carseats, so I was worried it couldn’t be done! Lol! We have a big backseat, so hopefull it’ll all work out.

I’m Going to get a loan from the bank and that is no problem but I need an estimate of how much all these things would be: I have a 2006 Cobalt LS 2door. Estimate needed for: 4 new tires (looked at some for 2 a piece), New head lights (angel headlights), rims/wheels (solid black ones), new seats (front 2 seats and backseat if possible I want the racing bucket seats. If a new back seat is not possible or over 500$ how much would a back seat cover cost), a new cover thing That goes where the speedometer and things are, so far that’s all I’ve looked at. Let me know what u come up with!
THANKS FOR THE PEP BOYS.. as for the other answer wow you obviously have no idea about cars.. bahahaha i didn’t even spend 3500 dollars and by the way my car was 9600
thanks and also i added it to my loan $-)

I am considering these 3 car seats for my son. He is currently 19mths old and 12.5kg.
When looking at them, which would you choose when you take these things into consideration…
**Must use till at least age 7 (about 26kg – obviously needs to incorporate adjustable height as my son is tall and I bet only going to get taller FAST!)
**Price
**Safety
**Size (width mostly…must fit in a backseat with another car seat and a backless booster)
(arm rests & drink holders do not hold much value to me so I am not really worried about comparing those functions)
They are all very similar so which one would you chose and more importantly, why??
Trying to get others opinions in case there is something I have missed that is important and a big factor swaying me towards one seat over the others. There is a big legion of fans supporting the second seat (the safe n sound maxi rider but it is also the most expensive with the price tag of 9..is it worth it??
thanks mummies!
