over filling a car, and 2 kids siting on a Parent's lap , is this child endanerment?
having 9 people in a Mini van that holds 7 and your kids 7 and 6, are sitting on their parent’s lap, with no booster seats in car. and 3 year old not strapped in car seat.

Don’t even think about doing that. Nevermind the trouble you could get into with the law, it’s very, very dangerous for the young ones. If you don’t strap them in, they’ll fly around inside the car, or worse be ejected if there’s a crash. If you put the belt around both parent and child, the weight of the parent will cause the seatbelt to slice into their stomachs in the event of a crash.
Also, overloading a minivan increases the chances you’ll get in a crash in the first place. Too heavy!!
Just take two cars!

Yes, child endangerment falls under child abuse is the blanket term to describe four types of child mistreatment, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, and neglect…
In this case it would fall under neglect.

No, it’s called manslaughter and child abuse.
